Two years ago today

It was only two years ago today that the Giants came from behind to win Game 4 of the World Series.

They were down 4-1 in the third and Ryan Vogelsong could not get the side out. So Bruce Bochy brought in Jean Machi, who gave up a walk and a strikeout to finish a nightmare inning, then got a run back in the bottom of the inning.

Yusmeiro Petit pitched the next three innings and gave up two hits and no runs. By the time Jeremy Affeldt took the mound in the 7th, the Giants were up 7-4. Then they scored 4 more in the bottom of the 7th.

That was a pretty great day.

It was the only Giants win in the Series in which Madison Bumgarner did not pitch.
